Se realizó una conferencia de prensa con autoridades sanitarias de Calamuchita en donde dieron recomendaciones a la población con respecto al Coronavirus y el Dengue.
Estuvieron presentes el director del Hospital Regional Eva Perón, doctor Daniel Quinteros, la vicedirectora, doctora Sandra Larrazabal, y los intendentes de Villa Rumipal, Gustavo Gantus, y de Embalse, Eduardo Maldonado, ambos médicos e integrantes del Consejo Regional de Salud que funciona en la Comunidad Regional Calamuchita.
En la reunión mencionaron que es fundamental que los vecinos asistan a los centros de salud de cada una de sus localidades ante síntomas compatibles con cualquiera de los casos (Dengue y Coronavirus). Recordaron, también, que las personas que arriben desde países afectados por la pandemia del COVID-19, ESTÁN OBLIGADOS a permanecer aislados en sus domicilios durante 14 días.
Los profesionales explicaron que tanto en el Hospital Regional Eva Perón como en los equipos de salud de las 24 localidades de Calamuchita se siguen los protocolos indicados por el Ministerio de Salud de la provincia y recomendaron a la población que se sigan los consejos emitidos por los organismos oficiales.
En torno al coronavirus, los médicos explicaron que tanto la infraestructura como el personal del Hospital Regional se encuentran en condiciones de atender los casos sospechosos y que, frente a posibles cuadros de mayor complejidad, los pacientes deberán ser derivados a los centros provinciales ubicados en la ciudad de Córdoba.

En ese sentido, destacaron que los cuatro casos que se presentaron en Calamuchita no fueron contagios autóctonos, lo que indica que se ha trabajado correctamente hasta el momento para evitar que la enfermedad se haya instalado en el departamento. Finalmente, reiteraron que es importante continuar con los planes de vacunación contra el Sarampión.
